Property inspection reports
A report that does more than say "damage found"
It shows what was inspected, what was found, what caused it, which storm event it may relate to and what should happen next.
Designed for insurance claim evidence
Built to support full and fair claim outcomes
A good report should be useful to the insurance industry, claim representatives, builders and property owners, not just a generic roof checklist.
Insurer-appointed assessors can overlook damage, especially when it's subtle, spread across multiple structures or hard to see safely from the ground. Our reports document the evidence in a clear, practical, claim-ready format that shows:
- What was inspected
- What damage was identified, and where
- Whether it's consistent with storm or hail impact
- The likely storm date or storm event
- What repairs or further actions are recommended

Inside the report
What your report may include
Every property is different, so report inclusions depend on what's found. Where damage is identified, here's what we document.
Property overview
The property, inspection date, relevant storm date, inspection method and report details.
Storm damaged items
Damage photos grouped by item or structure, from roof sheeting and flashings to solar, windows, roller doors and air-con casings.
Causation report
Whether the observed damage is consistent with hail, storm, impact, mechanical damage, wear and tear or another cause.
Storm date identification
Likely storm dates, supported by weather and radar information, storm reports, news articles and social media storm references.
Recommended rectifications
Next steps such as repairs, replacement, make-safe works, further testing, trade quoting, engineering review or claim referral.
Licensed building report
Each report is issued under a builder's licence, with notes on access, safety and any further testing required.
Storm damaged items
Damage is grouped so nothing gets left off the scope
Photos are organised by item or structure, making it easy for you, your representative or a repairer to see exactly what was affected:
- Metal roof sheeting
- Ridge capping & flashings
- Gutters & downpipes
- Skylights & roof vents
- Solar panels & equipment
- Window frames & screens
- Roller doors
- Fencing & external cladding
- Air-conditioning units
Property, inspection date, relevant storm date and how the inspection was carried out.
Damage photos grouped by item: roof sheets, flashings, gutters, skylights, solar and more.
Separates storm damage from wear and tear, and links it to the likely storm event.
- Replace damaged roof sheeting
- Test solar panels
Practical next steps: repairs, replacement, make-safe, testing or referral.
Why the report matters
Claims and repair decisions come down to evidence
Without clear photos, causation notes and documented recommendations, important damage can be missed, under-scoped or treated as minor patch-up work.
Before you accept a partial repair, delayed response or insurer-appointed scope, get clear evidence.
Our report gives you a stronger foundation before you accept an insurer assessment, panel-builder scope or partial settlement. You can share it with your nominated representative, claim specialist or repairer. Your insurer may still complete its own assessment.
